Still feeling blown away by the amazing intuitive bodywork session I had yesterday with Phill Hunt. Trained in osteopathy, Phill has developed his own mind/body therapy called Somapsyche. It was truly one of the deepest treatments I have ever experienced â a kind of meditation and enquiry on the body.

Working with Phillip unfolded both immediately in session, and gently afterwards. It was only with time that I understood how the word âinsightâ really comes into play in Phillips work.
The integration was intense at times, but the insights it came with in the weeks that would follow a session were profound. Moments in session were transformative and always surprisingly different. With time out in the world, my ability to catch myself and witness the person I was becoming after sessions was the true gift. Noticing and understanding my reaction to a situation as if in slow motion and being able to correct course with more ease instead of going down the same, trotted (neural) pathways. Choosing differently, actively, over and over again - and changing the direction of your life, session by session and choice by choice.

Thank Phil đ I spent all afternoon dosing off, sleeping but not sleeping, emotionally and physically drained, surprisingly much more drained than our last sessionâŚ.
My breath is taking in a deeper depth now, feels like a depth I have not let light in for a while.. itâs a nourishing space⌠more trust, as if there is renewed openness to let life in, just a little more fully. The armor and the blockage around my heart space seems to have soften⌠the breath is now reaching deeper in.
As I left the session floating, I kept walking along the path, passing lala lili, towards the bridge. Then suddenly I remembered my bike. Ahah I left my bike on top of the hill, took me a moment to gather my orientation, where I was, what I was heading to. Turned around and walked back to my bike feeling silly. The walking seemed to have released some resistance on my left piriformis, from the pressure during the session I resisted. By the time I returned to my bike, the tension was gone. Hah, the intelligence of the psyche.
I have been flying so high the last 6 weeks. And now feeling lots of grief and sadness releasingâŚ. This session has been so aptly timed, we couldnât have planned this consciously: New moon today squaring my natal Chiron at the exact degree⌠weaving healing magically. There is a lot to integrateâŚ
